HIV Life Insurance – How do you know you’re paying too much for your Life Insurance? – Part 1 ” … Commentary by Chris Morgan

One thing that is for certain is your Bank, Building Society or Life Insurance Company is not going to tell you they are overcharging you for your Life Insurance. Unusual Risks have research coming out soon that absolutely proves that Banks and Life Insurance Companies are overcharging applicants for HIV Life Insurance following the main pandemic.

Over the last 12 years we have been at the forefront of negotiating for people living with HIV within the Life Insurance Industry. We represented the HIV Community in the original working group that created HIV Life Insurance products in 2009. We then were at the forefront of the introduction of better product terms for people through to 2018.

Latest Products

Throughout lockdown we were so concerned at the way Banks and Building Societies and some Life Insurers were treating people living with HIV, that we used the time to negotiate with new Life Insurance Companies to lower premium rates. We will be announcing the results of that work in the next few weeks – these products are only available through brokers and not high street banks and Life Insurers directly.

We are however for moment are able to say ….

“If you are a HIV Life Insurance policy holder that was taken before March 2018, you should now be contacting Unusual Risks to review your policy. If you have a policy that was taken out before this date, then you are likely to be paying too much for your Life Insurance“.

Call us to review your existing Life Insurance and to make sure that you are not paying too much for your cover.

Declined For Cover? We can help !
